Short version: we collect nothing about you. No account, no tracking, no ads, no analytics. Your guides, photos and recordings stay on your iPhone and, if you choose, in your own iCloud. We never see them.
Kurz gesagt: Wir erheben nichts über dich. Kein Konto, kein Tracking, keine Werbung, keine Analyse. Deine Anleitungen, Fotos und Aufnahmen bleiben auf deinem iPhone und, wenn du willst, in deiner eigenen iCloud. Wir sehen sie nie.

2. The app
Hausgeist has no user account and we run no server that receives your content. Places, guides, photos, videos, transcripts and settings are stored on your device. We never receive this data. Deleting a guide or place, or deleting the app, removes it from the device.
iCloud sync and sharing (optional)
If "Sync with iCloud" is on, your places are stored in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This is provided by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to it. If you share a place, the people you invite can see (and, if you allow it, edit) that place with all its guides and photos, and they see the name of your Apple ID as the person sharing it. You can stop sharing or remove people at any time. If you turn sync off, everything stays only on this iPhone and nothing is backed up to iCloud.
Speech recognition
Dictation and video import use Apple's speech recognition. If the offline speech pack for your language is installed, recognition runs entirely on your iPhone. Otherwise, the audio may be sent to Apple and processed on Apple's servers to create the transcript, under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive the audio or the transcript.
AI on the device
Hausgeist turns your explanations into steps with a language model that runs on your iPhone: Apple Intelligence where available, otherwise the optional LFM2 model by Liquid AI. Your texts are never sent to us or to an AI service.
If you choose to download the LFM2 model (about 1.6 GB), your iPhone fetches the file from our web server at theyplay.games. Like every web request, this reaches our hosting provider (see section 3), which may record your IP address, the time and the requested file in its standard server log files. We do not use these logs to identify you. If our server cannot be reached, the app downloads the same file from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) instead, where the same kind of technical data is processed under Hugging Face's privacy policy. No content of yours is sent in either case.
Camera, microphone and photos
Hausgeist only accesses the camera, microphone or your photo library when you start an action yourself (recording, filming, adding a photo or video), and only after you have allowed it in iOS. You can revoke access at any time in the iOS Settings.
Addresses
If you enter an address for a place and tap it, it is opened in Apple Maps. This happens only on your tap, and Apple Maps then processes it under Apple's privacy policy.
In-app purchase
Hausgeist Plus is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes payment data; we only receive anonymous, aggregated sales reports from Apple. The app checks your purchase status with Apple on your device.
No tracking, no analytics, no ads
Hausgeist contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
3. This website
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit a page or download a file (including the AI model), the server automatically records technical data (server log files): IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and files securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted by the hosting provider after a short period. The website uses no cookies, no analytics and loads no external resources. The language choice (EN/DE) is stored only in your browser.
4. Contact
If you email us, we use your message only to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR) and delete it when it is no longer needed.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As we store no app data about you, there is usually nothing for us to provide; just contact us if you have questions.

2. Die App
Hausgeist hat kein Nutzungskonto, und wir betreiben keinen Server, der deine Inhalte erhält. Orte, Anleitungen, Fotos, Videos, Transkripte und Einstellungen werden auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Wir erhalten diese Daten nie. Wenn du eine Anleitung, einen Ort oder die App löschst, sind sie vom Gerät entfernt.
iCloud-Synchronisierung und Teilen (optional)
Ist „Mit iCloud synchronisieren“ eingeschaltet, werden deine Orte in deiner eigenen privaten iCloud-Datenbank (Apple CloudKit) gespeichert. Das stellt Apple gemäß der Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple bereit; wir haben darauf keinen Zugriff. Wenn du einen Ort teilst, können die eingeladenen Personen diesen Ort mit allen Anleitungen und Fotos sehen (und, wenn du es erlaubst, bearbeiten), und sie sehen den Namen deiner Apple-ID als die Person, die teilt. Du kannst das Teilen jederzeit beenden oder Personen entfernen. Ist die Synchronisierung aus, bleibt alles nur auf diesem iPhone, und nichts wird in iCloud gesichert.
Spracherkennung
Diktieren und Video-Import nutzen die Spracherkennung von Apple. Ist das Offline-Sprachpaket für deine Sprache installiert, läuft die Erkennung komplett auf deinem iPhone. Andernfalls kann die Aufnahme an Apple gesendet und auf Servern von Apple verarbeitet werden, um das Transkript zu erstellen, gemäß der Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple. Wir erhalten weder Aufnahme noch Transkript.
KI auf dem Gerät
Hausgeist macht aus deinen Erklärungen Schritte, mit einem Sprachmodell, das auf deinem iPhone läuft: Apple Intelligence, wo verfügbar, sonst das optionale Modell LFM2 von Liquid AI. Deine Texte werden nie an uns oder an einen KI-Dienst gesendet.
Wenn du das LFM2-Modell (rund 1,6 GB) lädst, holt dein iPhone die Datei von unserem Webserver unter theyplay.games. Wie bei jedem Webaufruf erreicht diese Anfrage unseren Hosting-Anbieter (siehe Abschnitt 3), der deine IP-Adresse, die Uhrzeit und die abgerufene Datei in seinen üblichen Server-Logfiles speichern kann. Wir nutzen diese Logs nicht, um dich zu identifizieren. Ist unser Server nicht erreichbar, lädt die App dieselbe Datei stattdessen von Hugging Face (huggingface.co); dort werden dieselben technischen Daten gemäß der Datenschutzerklärung von Hugging Face verarbeitet. Inhalte von dir werden in keinem Fall übertragen.
Kamera, Mikrofon und Fotos
Hausgeist greift nur dann auf Kamera, Mikrofon oder Fotomediathek zu, wenn du selbst eine Aktion startest (Aufnehmen, Filmen, Foto oder Video hinzufügen), und nur, nachdem du es in iOS erlaubt hast. Den Zugriff kannst du jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen widerrufen.
Adressen
Wenn du für einen Ort eine Adresse einträgst und darauf tippst, wird sie in Apple Karten geöffnet. Das passiert nur auf deinen Tipp hin; Apple Karten verarbeitet sie dann gemäß der Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple.
In-App-Kauf
Hausgeist Plus wird von Apple über den App Store verkauft. Apple verarbeitet die Zahlungsdaten; wir erhalten von Apple nur anonyme, zusammengefasste Verkaufsberichte. Die App prüft deinen Kaufstatus auf deinem Gerät bei Apple.
Kein Tracking, keine Analyse, keine Werbung
Hausgeist enthält keine Analyse- oder Werbe-SDKs und verfolgt dich nicht über Apps oder Websites hinweg.
3. Diese Website
Diese Website wird bei STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Deutschland gehostet. Wenn du eine Seite aufrufst oder eine Datei lädst (auch das KI-Modell), speichert der Server automatisch technische Daten (Server-Logfiles): IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit, aufgerufene Seite oder Datei, verweisende Seite, Browser und Betriebssystem. Das ist nötig, um Website und Dateien sicher auszuliefern (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Die Logs werden vom Hosting-Anbieter nach kurzer Zeit gelöscht. Die Website setzt keine Cookies, nutzt keine Analyse und lädt keine externen Inhalte. Die Sprachwahl (EN/DE) wird nur in deinem Browser gespeichert.
4. Kontakt
Wenn du uns schreibst, nutzen wir deine Nachricht nur zur Beantwortung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b/f DSGVO) und löschen sie, sobald sie nicht mehr benötigt wird.
5. Deine Rechte
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde. Da wir keine App-Daten über dich speichern, gibt es meist nichts herauszugeben; melde dich einfach, wenn du Fragen hast.
